uniform requirements

Bryan Academy of Dance has a set uniform requirement that is in regulation with the B.A.T.D and this is required for class and any exams that are taken. You will find below the detailed uniform list needed for each level/grade.

HAIRSTLYES: In all dance lessons hair must be kept off the face and neck in a tidy fashion.

JUNIOR UNIFORM: FIRST STEPS TO PRIMARY:

BALLET: White sleeveless leotard

  Black leather split sole ballet shoes with elastics

  Pink voille ballet skirt (bought through the school)

  White ankle socks

  Boys: Black shorts or tights and white leotard/t-shirt, black ballet shoes

NATIONAL: White sleeveless leotard

  Black national shoes

  White ankle socks

  Black national skirt with one ribbon stripe (bought and made through the school)

  Boys: As ballet uniform with national shoes

MODERN &

TAP: Black all-in-one leotard

  Black leather split sole ballet shoes with elastics

  Black tap shoes

  Black socks

  Pink wrap around cardigan (for class only) - optional

INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR UNIFORM: GRADE 1+:

BALLET: Black Freed camisole leotard

  White seamed ballet tights

  White satin split sole ballet shoes with ribbons

  Pink satin demi-pointe shoes with ribbons (only worn on invitation)

  Pink satin pointe shoes with ribbons (seniors only)

  Boys: Black tights and white leotard, black canvas split sole ballet shoes

NATIONAL: Black camisole leotard

  White seamed ballet tights

  Black leather national shoes

  Black national skirt with one ribbon stripe (bought and made through the school)

  Black leather split sole ballet shoes with elastics (for soft shoe work)

MODERN &

TAP: Black leotard and tights (required,) Black lycra jazz pants for class (optional)

  Black jazz shoes

  Black oxford tap shoes (or split soles) with Capezio taps

  Black socks

All uniform can be bought through the school.
